RSE
The Yasmine and Tom ‘RSE’ modules cover statutory RSE education for Key Stages 1 and 2 (ages 5–11).
It’s a lively, interactive online RSE resource to use as part of personal, social, health and economic (PSHE) education. Packed with flexible, age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
Animation, sound and touch-screen activities bring Yasmine and Tom to life, as they guide your pupils through real-life situations and topics, including the body, feelings, relationships, family life and online safety.
The programme contributes to the health, well-being and personal development of pupils in primary school.

The Yasmine and Tom ‘Health’ modules cover statutory health education for Key Stages 1-2. The programme contributes to the health, well-being and personal development of pupils in primary school.

This resource covers key aspects of statutory health education including:
- the characteristics and mental and physical benefits of an active lifestyle.
- the benefits of physical exercise, time outdoors, community participation, voluntary and service based activity on mental well-being and happiness.
- where and how to seek support (including recognising the triggers for seeking support), including whom in school they should speak to if they are worried about their own or someone else’s mental well-being, or ability to control their emotions (including issues arising online).
- about the benefits of rationing time spent online, the risks of excessive time spent on electronic devices and the impact of positive and negative content online on their own and others’ mental and physical well-being.
- the characteristics of a poor diet and risks associated with unhealthy eating (including, for example, obesity and tooth decay) and other behaviours (e.g., the impact of alcohol on diet or health).
- about safe and unsafe exposure to the sun, and how to reduce the risk of sun damage, including skin cancer.
- the importance of sufficient good quality sleep for good health and that a lack of sleep can affect weight, mood and ability to learn.
- about dental health and the benefits of good oral hygiene, including regular check-ups at the dentist.
- about personal hygiene and germs including bacteria, viruses, how they are spread and treated and the importance of handwashing.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER PURCHASING?
You, and other staff at your school, will be able to use Growing Up with Yasmine and Tom for as long as your subscription is active. We will contact you by email before your yearly Direct Debit renewals are processed.
We will create an account for your school, you can then add yourself (if you haven’t already done so at the time of purchase) and/or your teachers to this account (up to the number of licences that you have purchased). We want you to be 100% happy with Yasmine and Tom. We recommend that after purchase, and before using the resource in class, you test the resource on your school’s equipment and contact us for help immediately if you experience any issues.

Payment methods, invoices, purchase orders and quotes
We accept the following payment methods via FPA.org.uk:
- Debit/Credit Card
- PayPal (PayPal also offers a wider variety of cards, including American Express)
Invoices and purchase orders can be paid via:
- Bank transfer
- Debit/Credit Card
We do not take payments over the phone but we can email you a secure payment link that you can click on and enter your debit/credit card details.

- We will then email you a secure link so can you can pay via card
For orders over £50 you can pay via bank transfer - including BACS - just select 'Invoice' or 'Purchase Order' at the checkout. See image above.
You can generate a quote / invoice via the FPA.org.uk shop for any order over £50
- Simply add the items you want to your basket and select “invoice” at the checkout
- We will then email you the invoice
- The quote (including prices) will be valid for 60 days
- We reserve the right to cancel any quote/invoice not paid within 60 days
- If you select “invoice” then the payment will need to be made before any physical goods in your order are despatched
- Minimum order size: £50
- Credit: we reserve the right to run a “soft check” or credit check as needed - once credit has been approved we will despatch your order. This is typically within 2 working days
- Purchase order number: you will need to add a valid purchase order number
- Purchase orders are binding: if we process your order and send you your products / give you access to digital products, you will need to ensure payment is made
- Payment terms: strictly 30 days

It’s easy to sign up to a full membership after your trial. Just log in to your account and head to your dashboard.
Click the ‘Upgrade to a full membership’ button.
This will take you to our shop where you can then add a full membership plan to your basket and check out.
Growing up with Yasmine and Tom Membership FAQs
All plans are detailed here. You should be guided by the size of your school and how many users you may need. User details can be shared across a school however each user can only be used by one person at a time. If you need to use the resource over multiple classrooms at the same time, you should consider a plan with enough users to do so.
If you are part of a Trust or Academy, you may wish to consider whether purchasing a Platinum or Custom plan might be the best route as one membership can be shared across several school sites.
If you are a specialist school or SEN, and your teacher to pupil ratio is higher than mainstream schools, you should contact our team on yasmineandtom@fpa.org.uk to discuss the right plan for you.
Access to ‘Growing up with Yasmine and Tom’ lasts 12 months. We'll let you know when your membership is due to expire. You can renew online up to 11 months in advance.
Once the order has been placed, you will be able to access the resource by logging in to the website. You should then click the ‘Launch Lessons’ button in the main menu. You’ll then be able to access your Yasmine and Tom modules.
Yes. Whether you have paid via card, invoice or credit purchase order, you’ll be able to access 'Growing up with Yasmine and Tom' as soon as your purchase is complete. If you did request an invoice or order via a purchase order, it’s important to ensure that payment is made so that your access continues.
User details can be shared across a school however each user can only be used by one person at a time. If you need to use Yasmine and Tom over multiple classrooms at the same time, you should consider a plan with enough users to do so. All plans are detailed here.

Yes. Contact our team on yasmineandtom@fpa.org.uk and let us know which plan you’d like to upgrade to. We’ll let you know what the pro rata difference for the year will be and arrange for payment via card, invoice or purchase order. Once payment is complete, you’ll be able to add additional users to your membership.

Renewing your Membership FAQs
Log in to your dashboard. If you are the admin for your team, you’ll see a ‘Renew’ button next to your membership.
Click ‘Renew’ and you’ll be taken to Checkout where you can review your details and make payment for your next year of access.
If you’re not the admin, you’ll need to contact them to renew for the team. Their details can be found under School/Organisation Settings & Billing.
Yes. We will send you an email notifying you 3 days before your renewal date.

No. We do not keep your payment information, so if you don’t renew, you won’t pay.

Nothing. We will send you an email inviting you to purchase another 1 Year Membership to ‘Growing up with Yasmine and Tom’, but if you choose to ignore it, your membership will simply expire.

‘Growing up with Yasmine and Tom’ covers the national curriculum topics covered in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 (children aged 5 – 11).
Absolutely. ‘Growing up with Yasmine and Tom’ is fully compliant with the guidance provided by the Department for Education.
We regularly review and update the resource in line with the national curriculum. Our last update was November 2023.
‘Growing up with Yasmine and Tom’ has been designed to work best using a desktop computer or tablet with an up to date browser such as Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Microsoft Edge. If your school doesn't use one of these browsers, please register for a free trial before buying to ensure the resource works with your school systems and equipment.

Parents can withdraw their children from the non mandatory lessons. These are 4 lessons in Module 3, i.e. lessons for 10-11 year olds. These are clearly marked in the lesson plans.
All activities are detailed in the lesson plans. Each module includes a combination of discussion topics, interactive whiteboard activities and worksheets across the lessons.
Any additional materials should be standard to a primary school classroom. Every lesson plan has a ‘Resources required’ list. You should check this prior to teaching the lesson and ensure the materials are prepped.
Each lesson plan includes helpful hints for differentiation and differentiated worksheets are supplied for select activities. You’ll also find helpful hints for opportunities for embedded learning.
