Description
With the Better2Know Comfort Screen, the following STIs are tested for:
- Chlamydia
- Gonorrhoea
- Trichomonas
- Mycoplasma
- Ureaplasma
- Gardnerella
Herpes I and II (Current Infection)

- These tests are provided and carried out by Better2Know who will respond with the results

- What Should I Test For?
- If you are not sure which STI you may have or are concerned about a risky encounter, the STI Four Screen Home Test Kit tests for common STIs including HIV, Chlamydia and Gonorrhoea.
- How does the test work?
- This test only needs a urine sample. After you have ordered your test and completed checkout online, Better2Know will post a discreet Comfort Screen pack to your home. The postal packaging is plain so no one will know what it is. When you open the pack, you will find a form, a urine collection container, and a return envelope. In addition, Better2Know will email you a copy of the sample collection instruction leaflet. The leaflet will give you step-by-step instructions on how to collect your sample. Please follow the instructions on the leaflet carefully. You then post the sample to the Better2Know laboratory. As soon as your results are ready you will get an email to let you know, but you can also log on securely and check online if you prefer.
- When will my home testing kit arrive?
- Orders placed before 11am, Monday to Friday, will post it out to you by first class the same day. Your Comfort Screen test should arrive the next working day or the day after, depending on where you live.
- How long before I get my Comfort Screen results?
- The results of your Comfort Screen should be ready within five working days from when your sample arrives at the laboratory.
- What happens if I have a positive result?
- If you would like them to, Better2Know can arrange an appointment with a doctor so that you can discuss the results of your test and get a prescription for the required medication (there will be a small fee for this). If you prefer, you can choose to take your results to your own GP.
- Is testing for STDs or STIs through Better2Know confidential?
- Yes. Your results and details are 100% confidential and Better2Know will not inform your GP or anyone without your permission.
- How long should I wait after an encounter before getting a Comfort Screen?
- For the most accurate results, you should wait at least 14 days since any incident you are concerned about before getting a Comfort Screen.

FAQs about the Better2Know service
- WHEN WILL YOU SEND MY KIT TO ME?
- If your order is placed before 11am on a working day, then it will be sent the same day. Otherwise it will be sent on the next working day.
- WHY DO YOU NEED MY EMAIL ADDRESS?
- The Patient Services Manager will email you your login details to access your results, a confirmation your kit has been dispatched and finally when all your results are ready. They do not sell on or email you any other marketing materials, that is why they do not ask you to opt in or out of anything.
- DO I NEED TO USE MY REAL NAME?
- No, but the postie does need to know where to deliver the kit to. As long as you use a name that will get the kit to you, then they do not need your real name.
- WHAT DOES THE KIT PACKAGING LOOK LIKE?
- It will arrive in plain white envelope with your typed name and address on it.

Orders sent to the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Highlands and Hebrides, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Ireland, Europe and the rest of the world are charged at the rates listed below.

UK deliveries for products that are in stock should usually be delivered within five working days. If a product you order is out of stock we will endeavour to contact you as soon as possible with a revised delivery estimate.
Please note: working days exclude weekends and all Bank Holidays.
We will send you the following emails as long as give us a valid delivery email address:
- An order confirmation email (web orders only)
- An order acknowledgement email (purchase orders only)
- An email when your order has been despatched. This will let you know which items have been despatched and will have a tracking link so that you can check where your order is and your estimated delivery date. If your order is split into more than one delivery we will send an email for each delivery.
If you have not received your order (excluding training courses and subscriptions) within 10 working days of receiving your emails, and we have not contacted you to advise of any delay, please contact us soon as possible. If you have placed an order and not received any email confirmation then please contact us as we may not have received it.

If the items you have ordered are in stock, we will normally send your order to you within five working days.
International orders, including BFPO orders, are generally delivered within seven working days.

We make every effort to deliver goods within these timescales, but sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control, this is not possible. We will not be liable for any delay that you may suffer in this regard.
Deliveries are made from Monday to Friday excluding any public holiday or bank holiday.
Please make sure the email address you give us is valid as an email confirmation will be automatically generated once your order is received.
You can store any number of different addresses in the My Account page, your order can be delivered to wherever is most convenient for you – so don't forget to decide whether you would like your items delivered to your home or work address.
