The quality mark was awarded in March 2020, after meeting the ten principles of effective PSHE education required to be a recommended resource . The PSHE Association’s Quality Mark process considers all resources against ten principles of best practice in PSHE education and other research into effective teaching and learning in the subject including (but not limited to); provision of a safe and supportive learning environment for all learners, presenting information in a positive and learner-friendly way, using‚ active teaching and learning techniques to engage pupils and to develop their understanding, knowledge and skills and provide information that is up-to-date, realistic and relevant to pupils’ lives.
