If you make a donation then:
- You can choose where the donations is spent.
- 100% of donations will be passed on to good causes e.g. if FPA receives a £200 donation to be used for school resources then that £200 will be used to buy at least £200 worth of resources for schools.
- If a sales tax is payable on the donations or gift, e.g. VAT, then FPA will cover that cost.

2025: Donations and gifts; how FPA passed them forward.
£2,000 Donation
We are grateful for the generosity of Miss Veronica Mary Elliot Matthew, whose legacy continues to support our mission.
Paying it forward: Working with Gloucestershire County Council this donation was matched by the FPA and passed on by giving £4,500 worth of sexual health resources to 80 secondary schools in Gloucestershire.
What a fantastic opportunity for our schools in Gloucestershire! It feels like Christmas has come early!

World Menopause Days: FPA menopause guides giveaway
Put simply - 1000s of FPA menopause guides given away.
A huge thanks from NHS Tayside for the generous contribution of Menopause leaflets. These will be used in our Menopause workshops and by our Meno Mentors to inform and support communities.
NOWT (Navigating Our Womanhood Together) and NHS Black Country ICB are proud to partner with the Family Planning Association to share trusted information and resources on menopause.
FPA's support helps us empower local women and people experiencing menopause to access reliable guidance, start conversations, and take charge of their health and wellbeing.

Love the new 'sex and the menopause leaflets', after our event last week where we showcased our current menopause awareness resources of books, posters and leaflets. We will continue to have these available for our customers.

Receiving a donation from the FPA
The bad news:
- We’ve not received any Government funding since 2019 and so free giveaways are limited.
The good news:
- When we get a donation - we pass 100% on to good causes. As per the examples above we’ll typically pass those onto charities, NHS bodies, councils and schools.
- Sometimes - like World AIDS day and World Menopause day - we’ll aim to give away relevant guides and resources to help organisations running specific events for those days.
You’re welcome to ask us for a freebie - please note - giveaways tend to be limited, restricted to when we get donations and/or limited to certain events.

- An email when your order has been despatched. If you have placed an order and not received any email confirmation then please contact us to confirm the order.
If you have not received your order within 10 working days of receiving your emails, and we have not contacted you to advise of any delay, please contact us as soon as possible.
