Question
Answer
- Smegma is a build-up of dead skin cells, oil, and other fluids on the tip of the penis in uncircumcised men. It is entirely normal.
- If a foreskin is present it needs to be retracted (pulled back) and cleaned daily to prevent build-up of smegma. Washing stops unwanted odour and irritation of the “glans penis” (head of the penis).
