- Implants, coils and injectables are all forms of long-acting reversible contraception
- These can be helpful as people don’t need to remember to take them every day
- Reminders in calendars and on phones do need to be set so someone remembers to go back to the sexual health clinic or GP surgery in time
- All of these forms of contraception are hormonal, except for the copper coil which does not contain hormones
