This four-day introductory level course is for those working directly with young people in any setting who have the opportunity to promote the positive sexual health of young people and support them in their sexual health choices.
School nurses, youth workers, primary care staff and voluntary sector staff will particularly benefit from this course.
The course provides a basic introduction to sexual health work with young people providing sexual health information, practising basic skills, and exploring values and attitudes.
The course can be taken in conjunction with Delivering SRE with Confidence for participants wishing to develop facilitation skills.
