Core competencies in sexual health for youth workers

In collaboration with The National Youth Agency

“I feel very confident about delivering SRE sessions.”
Course participant, Tameside Youth Service

National Youth Agency logoWorking with the National Youth Agency, FPA has developed a set of core competencies which covers all the essential skills, information and values that youth workers and people who work with young people need in order to run safe, informed, and practical sex and relationships work (SRW) sessions with young people.

This university-accredited training course equips participants to meet these competencies in delivering SRW.

The eight days break down into three training modules, an assessment day and a study day.
