Delivering sex and relationships education in the classroom

A six-day, university-accredited training course for teachers, school nurses and other professionals involved in teaching sex and relationships education (SRE) in primary, secondary or special schools.

This intensely practical training has been consistently well evaluated by teachers, schools nurses and learning mentors working with young people in school settings.

The course will be delivered in an active and participatory way, modelling good classroom practice.

The course is skills- and values-based and recognised as particularly suitable for inclusion in portfolios, and can be used as evidence in personal, social, health and economics (PSHE) education as part of the teacher's and community nurse's own continuous professional development.
