NEW! Supporting healthy sexuality through pregnancy and beyond: a course for midwives, doulas and other pregnancy support staff

Delivered in partnership with Susan Quilliam, relationship psychologist, agony aunt, writer and broadcaster

Conception can be a wonderful moment in a couple’s life but the challenges of pregnancy, childbirth and the post-partum period may have a significant effect on sexual feelings and activity. The result can be a distressing and long-term impact on individual emotional health and on relationship stability.

Pregnancy and post-pregnancy staff such as midwives, doulas and health visitors are in a unique position to help couples who need support.

This new course not only offers the relevant framework of information, but also develops participants' skill in how to discuss sexual issues with women and their partners.
