Basics of contraception

Revised and updated two-day course. Includes new guidance on different forms of contraception including the vaginal ring.

This introductory course is for professionals who wish to gain an understanding of contraception and the skills needed to communicate about it.

The course provides in-depth, non-clinical information about all forms of contraception and is particularly useful for youth workers, teachers, outreach workers and nurses, midwives and health visitors who are not trained in contraceptive methods.

Please note that this course is not the Certificate in Family Planning offered by the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare.
