The long version asks questions about you, and about what matters to you when choosing a contraceptive method. It also asks some questions about your medical history (or your partner's if you are male). Your answers are taken into account when My contraception tool suggests the best contraceptive method for you. The longer questionnaire takes about 15 minutes to complete.
The short version asks the same questions, but doesn't ask about your medical history. This version takes about five minutes to complete. Don't worry if you choose the shorter version - a doctor or nurse will always check your medical history before prescribing any contraceptive method, and you can always come back and do the longer questionnaire when you have more time.
