Congratulations to entrepreneur Deb Leary, who took on the Funny Women charity challenge in support of FPA.
The charity event, organised by comedy brand Funny Women, challenged ten women from business, media and academia to perform stand up comedy for the first time in their lives.
See Deb in action in this Twitter photo from the night.
The overall winner was Rowan Pelling who performed a set focusing on sex and eroticism.
Deb said that taking part was “exciting and scary and at times creates a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. It’s wonderful! It shows I’m alive. The best bit – it’s for charity.”
Deb has raised over £500 for FPA so far and it's not to late to show your support.
Please support FPA and Deb with a donation.
Deb is CEO of Forensic Pathways and President of the British Association of Women Entrepreneurs (BAWE). She is also a consultant.
