There are lots of ways you can help raise funds for FPA from sponsored cycle rides to overseas treks.

We've produced a handy fundraising pack full of information on how to plan your chosen event and raise as much money as possible!

How your fundraising helps: Jay's story

Jay is 19 and currently lives in a hostel for homeless people because his relationship with his mum broke down and he ended up on the streets. He hasn’t heard from his dad in years. Jay has a lot of casual sex and is worried about catching a sexually transmitted infection but finds it hard to put his health and wellbeing first let alone deal with the emotional side of sex.

We work with Jay, and other young people like him, helping to explore why it’s important to look after his sexual health. But we also explore what respect in a relationship means and how, by good communication with a partner, many problems can be avoided. Read more about this project.

We know that talking about sex and relationships makes all the difference but it isn’t something we do very well in the UK as it makes us embarrassed and uncomfortable.

We believe in empowering people so that they can then make the best choices for their own health and wellbeing, so we educate, inform and support with practical help and resources.

Raising funds for FPA means we can continue to help Jay and the many other people we help every day in lots of ways.

We are appealing for general funds. Jay's story is used only as an example to illustrate the work of FPA.
