Our 2006 campaign focused on condoms and how the different sizes and shapes of condoms can improve comfort and fit.
Calls to the FPA helpline indicate that many men and women experience problems with condoms. Badly fitting condoms are more likely to tear or slip off, affecting confidence in the method. Poor fit also reduces sexual pleasure and contributes to negative views of condoms.
The campaign also encouraged health professionals to talk to clients about condoms and discuss the positive effect correct fit can have on user experience.
