New research published for FPA Sexual Health Week 2003 showed low levels of condom use and little awareness of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) among men and women.
FPA called for speedy nationwide roll out of the Government’s chlamydia screening programme, the most commonly diagnosed STI in 2002, as a cost-effective prevention measure.
