FPA (Family Planning Association) is a national charity. We give people information and advice about sexual health.
Sexual health includes contraception, sexually transmitted infections, abortion and sex and relationships education.
See some of the help and advice that FPA can give you.
Every year FPA organises a campaign called Sexual Health Week.
This helps people find out more information so they can make better decisions about sexual health and their relationships.
Sexual Health Week campaigns that FPA has run in the past.
In 2008 FPA talked about sex and relationships with learning disabilities.
We called the campaign week It's My Right!
We think that people with learning disabilities have the right to have sex and relationships if they want to.
We also believe that people with learning disabilities should have more education, information and chances to meet people and have relationships.
During the week FPA campaigned so that more people know this.
Sexual Health Week 2008, called It's My Right! was from 4–10 August 2008.
FPA made posters featuring people with learning disabilities campaigning for their right to sex and relationships. See the It's my right posters here.
We also launched an interactive CD-ROM called All about us. The CD-ROM helps people learn about sex, sexuality and relationships. It is easy to understand and has fun games and different things to do to help you learn.
More information about the week is available on the It's my right campaign page.
