Work with us

We're recruiting! Our current vacancies are listed below.

Senior Policy and Public Affairs Officer

Hours Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary £28,000
Location London

We’re looking for someone passionate about policy, politics and public health to join our small, busy team.

This is a key role with the opportunity to really make a difference, working closely with parliamentarians, administering the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Sexual and Reproductive Health, developing FPA’s policies and contributing to our public messages. You’ll have experience as part of a policy or public affairs team (ideally in the health or charity sector), or have worked within parliament, and be ready to take your next step.

You’ll be reporting directly to our Chief Executive but working extremely closely with our communications team to make sure we can effectively get our messages across and that our campaigns and media work are informed by sound, evidence-based policy positions.

You’ll have excellent communication skills, know your way around digital media, be able to put complex information into straightforward language and be confident building relationships with people at all levels.

If you’ve got experience of working in a policy, public affairs or parliamentary field, a proactive approach, and a passion for helping FPA achieve good sexual health for everyone then we’d love to hear from you.
