40 days of choice

Take action to raise awareness of abortion rights and celebrate a woman’s right to choose

Pro-choice logoEvery year the anti-choice group 40 Days for Life organises protests and pickets at abortion providers across the world.

To coincide with these protests, FPA and other UK pro-choice organisations have founded 40 Days of Choice to celebrate the right to safe, legal abortion.

40 Days of Choice, February – April 2012

The first 40 Days of Choice took place between 22 February and 1 April.

Every day we tweeted small, positive steps you can take to increase awareness of abortion rights and advocate for better access to reproductive health services.

We also asked people to post I ♥ Pro Choice photos to Twitter and Tumblr. A huge thank you to everyone who sent a photo.

The Tumblr page has information on the background behind the campaign and lists all the actions from the first campaign. Many of the daily actions can still be taken, so if you missed them on the day why not choose an action to take now?
