Reacting to new research from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB) on the sexual health risks being taken by people aged over 45, Julie Bentley, Chief Executive fpa said:
“Unfortunately age is no defence against sexually transmitted infections. However old or young you are, using condoms will help protect yourself and your partner from STIs. People over the age of 45 who are having sex with new partners need to think about their sexual health in exactly the same way that eighteen year olds do.”
