FPA premiers first ever short film on abortion in Northern Ireland

Discrimination and Denial: Abortion Law in Northern Ireland is a new powerful short film exposing what happens to women in Northern Ireland with a crisis pregnancy.

Premiered in Belfast, on the 15 June 2009, Discrimination and Denial features interviews with leading Northern Irish health professionals and politicians. The film is a hard hitting expose illustrating the difficulties not just for women, but for health professionals trying to provide quality healthcare in a state that doesn’t offer women a legal and safe abortion.
